Dear Parents/Carers

As confirmed earlier this week, we have been made aware that there have been positive cases of COVID confirmed within transport routes 1 and 6 and within Rowley Class.

We have been in close contact with Public Health Sandwell and they have confirmed at this stage, there is no requirement for pupils who have been in contact with those testing positive to self-isolate in line with the updated Government guidelines.

However, after further advice from Public Health we would recommend that all pupils on transport routes 1 and 6 and Rowley Class have a PCR test.

Pupils can continue to come to school whilst they are awaiting the results of this test, unless they develop symptoms of COVID (ie high temperature, loss of smell/taste, continuous cough). If your child’s PCR test comes back positive, please ring the School on 0121 561 6884.

You can arrange a PCR test via this link https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing/get-tested-for-coronavirus/.

If queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the School.

Yours faithfully
