Safeguarding

Safeguarding Statement

The Westminster School is committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of all our pupils. We believe that our pupils have the right to learn in a happy, caring and safe environment. This includes the right to protection from all types of abuse; where staff are alert for signs of any pupils in distress and are confident about applying safeguarding processes.

The Westminster School recognises that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

Safeguarding is about ensuring that everyone is safe from harm – safe from bullying, people who could abuse, discrimination or harassment and that we all feel safe in our environment.

Our Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy is available here.

If you are concerned about the safety or wellbeing of someone at our school, please speak to the School’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) Mrs Joanne Turner or Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads, Miss Gemma Webb and Mrs Denise Taylor on 0212 561 6884.
