Dear Parents/Carers
Confirmed Cases of COVID – Beacon Class
I am writing to let you know that your child has been identified as a direct contact of a confirmed case of COVID which has occurred in Beacon Class.
In line with Government guidance, it is not necessary for your child to self-isolate; they should continue to come to school, unless they develop symptoms of COVID and then they must self-isolate and undertake a PCR test.
It is recommended that pupils should undertake a daily Lateral Flow Test (LFT) for the next 7 days. If your child tests positive on a LFT, they must not attend School but you should let us know and arrange for a PCR test.
We would be grateful if you could send a copy of all positive test results to headteacher@westminster.sandwell.sch.uk.
