COVID Cases in Haden – Update
Further to my previous letter regarding COVID cases in Haden, due to a member of the class team testing positive for COVID, we have had to extend the class closure until Friday 8 October. This is due to the member of staff having to self-isolate for 10 days and unfortunately we do not have the operational capacity amongst our staff team to keep the class open.
Pupils should have already had a PCR test, if not could you please arrange one as soon as possible. Pupils should also take a Lateral Flow Test on Thursday 5 October and Sunday 10 October and if these tests are negative, they can return to school on Monday 11 October.
If your child develops any of the following symptoms at any point during their isolation, please arrange another PCR test:
- new continuous cough and/or
- high temperature and/or
- a loss of, or change in, normal sense of taste or smell (anosmia)
- aches and pains
- feeling very tired for no good reason
- sore throat
- runny nose
- tummy ache/upset tummy in children.
If your child’s PCR test comes back positive, please ring the School on 0121 561 6884.
We would be grateful if you could send a copy of all test results to email@example.com.
If you have any queries or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the School.
